Dr. Smith is the R. Michael Scott Chair in Neurosurgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, vice-chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, co-director of the Cerebrovascular Surgery and Interventions Center and professor at Harvard Medical School. He currently heads a translational research laboratory in the Vascular Biology Program and, along with Dr. Orbach, leads one of the largest pediatric cerebrovascular programs in the country, with a dedicated team focused on improving the outcomes of patients with moyamoya, aneurysms, AVMs and cavernous malformations.
